We help faith-driven indie artists become their own producers through 1-on-1 mentorship from industry professionals and a thriving community of like-minded creatives.
Producer Mastery is a faith-driven 1-on-1 mentorship and private community that equips indie artists with the skills to produce their own release-ready songs with authenticity and excellence.
Our clients unlock the creative freedom to make their songs heard and build a song catalog without wasting thousands in studio costs.
Our unique 6-month program provides clients with 1-on-1 support, extensive video modules, weekly group mentorship calls, and online community.
Through our transformative process, artists are equipped with the skills to confidently produce, edit, mix and master their own songs and never have to pay a producer again.
We teach practical, industry-standard production techniques that are used on major label projects for Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, Maverick City Music, Kim Walker-Smith and more.
First of all, we are the only faith-driven online music production mentorship with 1-on-1 access to industry professionals AND a vibrant, growing community of Indie Christian/Worship artists.
Secondly, there is no other place (expensive audio schools included) where you will learn the industry secrets my team has gained by working on projects for Grammy-winning label Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, Bethel Music, and other major artists.
After helping hundreds of artists like you (from complete beginner to intermediate-level), I've found that in order to learn an expert skill like production at an accelerated pace, information just isn't enough...
You need personalized guidance, direct feedback on your mixes, an active community and someone who was once where you are now and knows exactly how to get you to the next level.
That's why I created Producer Mastery: to help indie artists who are ready to go all in, pursue their calling with excellence and make their songs heard.
We believe all independent artists deserve to have their songs heard and receive the support they need for success.
But to be successful as an independent artist in the modern music industry, you need these 3 things:
1.) Quality Songs
2.) Quality Community
3.) Large Song Catalog
A successful Nashville songwriter recently told me...“Out of every 100 songs you create, 1 of those songs will actually make you money.”
By becoming your own producer, you are removing production costs by doing it yourself instead of relying on expensive producers or an hourly studio rate. Paying a producer is fine if you just want to release a single here and there…. but what if you want to produce 100+ songs so you can start seeing momentum?
In my own experience in the music industry, I’ve found that the best artists are also the best producers.
Some examples of this in the music industry include Ryan Tedder, Charlie Puth, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Timbaland, Prince, and Justin Timberlake. Many supervisors in the music industry call this self-sufficient artist/producer a “100 Percenter.”
By investing in yourself for a season, you can unlock a skill that pays you back for life.
You can create additional streams of income by taking on your own production clients, build a song catalogue that grabs the attention of music supervisors, pitch music for TV and film placements, or create your next album instead of paying someone else thousands to do it for you.

We keep Jesus at the center.

We uphold the industry-standard.

We are passionate creators.

We equip artists to be heard.

We bring strength through connection.

We impact the world through music.

To be honest...I never wanted to be a producer. I’ve been songwriting since I was 16 and that was always my first-love.
I desperately wanted professional level songs, but lacked the money to pay thousands for a capable producer.
I went into debt to pay a producer after my Kickstarter campaign painfully failed to fund my debut album.
I was overwhelmed by the crushing reality of not having the resources to make my songs heard.
My dreams felt hopelessly out of reach...

But everything changed when I learned that the best way to become a great artist is to become a great producer.
A light turned on in my head. I had hope.
I went home every day determined to learn how to produce music.
By this time I was teaching full time and instead of hanging with friends, I said yes to every free project, recorded my own vocals at home with a $400 mic, and pitch-corrected them myself.
I grew tired of watching hours of YouTube videos, so I hired a mentor and joined an online songwriter community to collaborate with.
I finally made the bold move to quit the career I wasn’t passionate about. I left the safety of my salary to take a full-time, unpaid internship at a music studio.
This was my defining (and humbling) moment - to pursue my dreams with no option of turning back. I lived off savings for 6 months without any guarantee that success would be waiting on the other side.
Eventually I was offered a job in the music industry. I went from teaching high school English to audio engineering for Grammy-winning record label, Elevation Worship. I went on to gain credits on over 14 Elevation Worship recordings including Grammy-nominated projects "When Wind Meets Fire" and "Praises."
In my journey, I saw countless independent artists struggle to find producers who truly understood their vision—or worse, spend thousands for one song that didn’t even reflect their heart and sound.
But every day, I worked closely with both artists and professional studios, fine-tuning workflows and teaching producers how to turn a simple idea into a polished, release-ready track.
Then, one day, I realized that the biggest transformation didn’t come from expensive studios—but from teaching artists how to take control of their own production with the right mentorship and system.
I realized artists don’t need more gear or another plugin—they need a roadmap.
I learned that if you want your dreams to come true, it’s less about talent and more about discipline. Those who make it are simply the ones who take risks, adopt a growth mindset and never quit.
Anyone can do this, and your journey doesn’t have to be as hard as mine. This is why I’m passionate about equipping independent artists with the skills to produce for themselves — but at an accelerated pace.
What took me years (and 3 internships) could take you only months.
Now my wife and I live in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. I enjoy traveling with her and writing and producing my own music.
I get the privilege every day of seeing artists like you unlock their creative flow at a deep, authentic level and bring their music vision to life by becoming their own producers.
